In this video Zane from Simple Green Tech looks at the Waves Abbey Road RS124 Compressor plugin. This is the only RS124 plugin emulation that’s been approved by Abbey Road Studios. The Waves Abbey Road RS124 is great on low frequency instruments like bass and drums, but it can also be used on vocals, busses and even your mixbus/master track. With the Waves Abbey Road RS124 you get a mono and stereo version of the plugin and it even has sidechain settings. This is an extremely easy compressor plugin to use as it has a fixed attack setting so you really only need to set your release and your levels.
